The complete fire ban is still in effect for North Hastings.
The North Hastings Fire Service says the ban, which was issued on April 18, remains until the ground becomes less dry to allow for burning.
The fire ban applies in the following areas: the Town of Bancroft, the Municipality of Hastings Highlands, Faraday Township, the Municipality of Wollaston, the Township of Tudor/Cashel, the Municipality of Carlow/Mayo and the Township of Limerick. For complete details, click here.
