“Council is excited to welcome Jason to his new role as Fire Chief,” Mayor Vic Bodnar said in a statement. “His years of experience in the fire service will prove to be valuable for our team.”

Post will begin in his new role on June 28th. He will be responsible for the administration and coordination of all Fire Department activities through the supervision of subordinate officers, and firefighters,” a statement from Hastings Highlands reads. “The Fire Chief plans, organizes and directs departmental operations with respect to equipment, apparatus, inspections and personnel.”
