Wollaston Public Library continuing online services

The Wollaston Public Library board has approved a motion to keep the library closed until May 4th, but will offer their services online to patrons.

A virtual catalogue has been set-up on the library’s website with CEO Temple Cameron ready to provide assistance if needed.

The library’s board chair Roxanne Lambert notes that they have five new members join in March, despite being closed to the public. She adds that staff are continuing to work from home – including Cameron – but will continue to focus on the exploration of additional online opportunities for the library. “In these trying times, your volunteer library board wants to ensure that all residents of Wollaston Township can receive assistance from our staff in order to be able to access reading materials,” Lambert adds. “It is one of our strategic goals to provide the services that the community needs, and right now, with the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot service residents in person, so we will do our best to provide services online.”

The North Hastings Public Library has also set-up a section on their website for people to browse their inventory.

On top of their website, you can stay connected with Wollaston’s library through Facebook or by calling them at 613-337-5183.
