Five new COVID-19 cases confirmed by Public Health; 239 “probable cases”

In Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, Public Health reports there are now 33 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19.

That is an increase of five since their last update.

Three are due to community transmission, one is from travel and one is from close contact.

Public Health reports that the amount of probable cases continues to drop. They say there are now 239 cases, which means someone came into contact with a confirmed or probable case or has returned from travelling out of Canada in the last 14 days. Despite going up slightly over the weekend, the amount of probable cases has decreased since Friday when Public Health reported there were 245.
