Hastings-Prince Edward Public Health’s new COVID-19 tracking dashboard has provided more information on the virus’ spread between the two Counties.
They added one more confirmed case of the virus Thursday, bringing the total to 37. There are also 238 probable cases – which is someone who has been in contact with a confirmed or probable case or travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days – which is an increase of four from Wednesday.
Data is also available now on how many people have been tested by Public Health. They report 1,401 tests have been as of Thursday, with 1,156 coming back negative. 209 tests are still pending. With 37 positive tests, that means there’s a three-percent positivity rate.
You’re also able to see how many cases are in the different regions within Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. According to Public Health, there are between five and nine lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in North Hastings. More specific data is now available through the dashboard tool.
