The Ontario Clean Water Agency is in town to start its spring watermain flushing in Bancroft.
It’s happening between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. May 5 to 11, including on weekend days.
During these times, you’re asked to not use your water if hydrant flushing is happening in your area. All Bancroft residents should also run their cold water tap for a couple of minutes each morning to get rid of any coloured water. The OCWA says coloured water and low pressure are normal, although they don’t recommend washing clothes if your water is coloured.
