Due to a misunderstanding curbside pick-up will not be allowed at North Hastings Public Library.
“Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding with (Public Health’s) interpretation of legislation,” the library’s CEO Kim McMunn tells the MyBancroftNow.com newsroom. Curbside pick-up was slated to start at the library Tuesday, May 12th.
“As they say, better safe than sorry,” McMunn says. “So we will wait, patiently.”
Library materials are still available to those looking for something to read or watch. North Hastings Public Library set-up an e-library which is available through their website. Books, books, audiobooks and DVDs are available to borrow. When speaking with the MyBancroftNow.com newsroom ins May McMunn noted that you do not need to be a library member to use this service.
