Funding has been extended for a dental clinic offered to those living in poverty in the Quinte region.
The South East Local Health Integration Network recently approved funding the program until March 31, 2016 through the Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre.
The oral health program is available to adults who are receiving government support, such as Ontario Works or the Ontario Disability Support Program. Children in the Children in Need of Treatment program or Healthy Smiles Ontario as well as low income families and seniors are also welcome.
The clinic will be open at the Belleville office from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
