The final tally is in and McHappy Day in Bancroft collected $2,000 for the Quinte Children’s Foundation.
Thomas McLean, restaurant manager for the Bancroft McDonald’s, says $1,400 was collected from participating products yesterday. He says the rest of the proceeds came from the restaurant’s Red McHappy Days shoe campaign.
McLean says the money will be helping some deserving local kids go to camp this year.
