Loyalist College is partnering with a Quinte health care company to launch the province’s first three-dimensional virtual training technology.
The college’s infiniteSpaces department created the module-based training technology, which allows employees to log in online and take their training anywhere 24/7. It covers more than 25 sections of training per year including: hygiene, restraints and behaviour management. It’s being implemented in two long-term care facilities managed by Crown Ridge Health Care Services Inc., eliminating the need to bring employees together for in-person training.
