The Royal Canadian Mint is issuing a coin and Canada Post is releasing a stamp, both to acknowledge the sacrifices of Canada’s military members.
The silver coin and stamp will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Remembrance Day poem In Flanders Fields. Prince Edward-Hastings MP Daryl Kramp is backing the initiative, saying this poem made the poppy a worldwide symbol of those who made the ultimate sacrifice at war.
