Ontario adds over 300 new cases of COVID-19

Ontario has added another 344 cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. That brings the total to 27,210.

Another 25 residents and 30 staff of the province’s long-term care homes have been diagnosed in the past day.

The total of people who have passed away from the virus is now at 2,230, an increase of 41 people in the past 24 hours.

The recovery rate remains at 77-percent.

Public Health reports another 18,525 tests were done yesterday, the highest number of tests in the last week and a half and closer to the daily target of 20,000.
