A new stakeholders group is looking for community input on how to better develop geological landforms in the area.
The Recreational Geology Tourism Stakeholders Group hopes to continue the momentum of the Recreational Geology Project. The group is looking for new ideas on how to develop our Geoheritage, promote tourism in the area and collaborate with communities across the region.
Anyone with an interest in geology, tourism or economic development is invited to an open house at the mineral museum in the Heritage Train Station in Bancroft May 27 at 7 p.m.
