The Total Fire Ban for North Hastings is no longer in effect as of 7 am this morning. Fire officials in Bancroft say we have received enough moisture coupled with continued green up of the grass and forest areas that we are past the danger stage of possible forest fires. Night time burning is permitted between 7:00 pm & 7:00 am. There is still no daytime burning allowed. This affects Tudor/Cashel, Limerick, Wollaston, Faraday, Bancroft, Hastings Highlands and Carlow/Mayo.
