With normal Canada Day festivities cancelled, Moose FM has decided to have a 12-hour broadcast to celebrate our country on Canada Day.
Throughout the day, we will be playing some of the best artists the North Hastings area has to offer. Thanks to help from Chair of the North Hastings Heritage Museum Board Mary Kavanagh, we will also be airing tidbits about Bancroft’s history.
We are also helping you prepare for Canada Day by giving away a rotating flagpole kit on Tuesday thanks to our friends at the Canadian Tire in Bancroft. All you have to do is win it is create the best Canada-related costume and post it on our Facebook page or send it to us throughout website. The contest runs until 6 PM on Tuesday, then the winner will be chosen.
The broadcast kicks off at 9 AM and will go until 9 PM.
