The last lab-confirmed case reported by Hastings-Prince Edward Public Health was on May 18th.
“(Hastings-Prince Edward Public Health) is considering all confirmed cases in our region to be medically resolved at this time,” Communications Specialist for Public Health Emily Tubbs tells the MyBancroftNow.com newsroom.
There is still one active case as reported on Public Health’s COVID-19 dashboard, but Tubbs says this case is considered medically resolved based on the criteria set by the Ministry of Health.
There are also zero probable cases listed on the dashboard.
With the one person recovering from the virus, it brings the total number to 37. Five deaths have been reported by Public Health due to COVID-19.
To date, 9,258 swabs have been done by Public Health between Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
