There was a fatal collision in Centre Hastings recently.
The OPP and their Technical Collision Investigators unit responded to the call on Stirling-Marmora Road just before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. They say a northbound car hit a southbound pickup truck.
The 65-year old driver of the car was identified as Ronald Sheppard of Belleville. He died on-scene. The pickup truck driver was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The highway was reopened eight hours later.
