The Quinte Region Traffic Coalition is reminding motorists to “Slow Down and Enjoy the Ride” this long weekend.
As part of Canada Road Safety Week, they’re on the road looking for drivers who are: aggressive, distracted, impaired or not using their vehicle’s restraint systems. The week runs from May 12 to 18.
As part of the coalition, the Centre Hastings OPP have laid: 65 speeding charges, four distracted driving charges, one seatbelt charge and 19 other charges.
