Our local health unit has started their beach testing for the summer.
Tests from one beach in the area have come back as unsafe for swimmers. Hastings Prince Edward Public Health says Frankford Park – Trent River is posted due to high amounts of bacteria that could be harmful to swimmers. It says this beach is one that’s tested weekly during the summer.
