There are now five active cases of COVID-19 between Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
Three of those cases have been reported by Hastings-Prince Edward Public Health in the last two days. All of them were due to travel.
The other two cases were reported to be caused by close contact with another person who has the virus.
There have been a total of 49 positive lab-confirmed cases of the virus since the pandemic began. Public Health says 39 people have gone on to recover, while five people have died.
As of Thursday morning, 22,145 swabs have been done by Public Health.
