The local OPP detachment is asking for the public’s help in solving the case of an assault that happened in a downtown Bancroft apartment last week.
The Bancroft OPP say two suspects entered the apartment late in the evening May 13. They say two women and a man lived there and that the suspects assaulted the man before leaving the apartment. The victim had minor injuries but didn’t need medical attention and nothing was reported stolen.
One of the suspects had his face covered. The other appeared to be between 40 and 50-years old. One suspect was wearing a blue plaid coat. Both are described as male.
An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bancroft OPP or Crimestoppers.
