Registration is now open for Bancroft & Area Kids in Need’s annual winter snowsuit program.
The program is designed to help children 16 and under whose families are going through financial struggles. To register, you must live in Bancroft, Carlow/Mayo, Faraday, Hastings Highlands, Highlands East, Limerick, or Wollaston.
You can register at Riverside Park under the picnic shelter from 10 AM until 1 PM on September 19th and the 26th, or from noon until 3 PM on September 20th and 27th. The Bancroft Pregnancy Care Centre is also open as a registration option. They’re open from 10 AM until 4 PM from September 21st to the 24th. Kids in Need ask on their Facebook page that if you’re going to the Pregnancy Care Centre, you call 613-332-4673 ahead of time to let them know you’re coming.

Just over 200 children got warm winter clothing thanks to Kids in Needs’ winter clothing program.
