Students from the Quinte region recently received medals at the 54th annual Canada-Wide Science Fair in Fredericton.
Team Quinte was made up of five students from the area. In the national competition, four students took home medals and admission scholarships to Western University. Their projects ranged from a look at microbeads to fertilizer.
All five members won these all-expense paid trips to the national competition after competing in the Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair at Loyalist College in Belleville last month.
