The Bancroft OPP are investigating a fatal ATV collision that happened on Airport Road last night.
They say a call came in around 8:30 p.m. about an ATV in the ditch in Faraday Township. The OPP say they responded with paramedics and that the rider was unresponsive. Despite efforts to resuscitate him, the 17-year old Hastings Highlands boy died on-scene.
A post-mortem is scheduled for today. The OPP and their Technical Traffic Investigators unit are investigating. The name of the rider isn’t being released.
