The Town of Bancroft passed the 2015 budget, following a town hall meeting Tuesday night.
Council met with residents at the Dungannon Recreation Centre to discuss the budget and the results of the resident survey. Concerns expressed to council included: dust and speeding on area roads, the Station Street bridge and extending the sewer line north.
Council passed the annual budget unanimously. This includes a one percent tax increase to help cover infrastructure improvements around town.
