Loyalist College media students have taken home three national awards for their college work.
Students in the Television and New Media Production program and the Radio Broadcasting program have won three Broadcast Educators Association of Canada 2015 Student Awards.
Two third-year TV students won for their live broadcast of an Ontario Junior Hockey League game. Another third-year TV duo got an award for a promotional piece. A second-year radio student was also awarded for a promotion for a program on the college’s radio station.
College president Maureen Piercy says it’s great to see Loyalist students recognized nationally.
