General Motors bringing pickup truck production to Oshawa, investing in Woodstock

Good news for the province’s auto industry and workers.
General Motors will be bringing back pickup truck production to its Oshawa assembly plant. It’s expected the company will hire about 1,700 employees and invest over $1-billion. The automaker also announced that it will invest $500-million in its Woodstock Parts Distribution Centre and over $1-million at its St. Catherines engine and transmission plant.
