The planning of the Fountain Hill Development Project is going well, according to the Town of Bancroft.
A public meeting last week was able to gather enough information to send back to the Town and Hastings County. Mayor Paul Jenkins has called the talks with residents about the project constructive. He said that residents were able to present their objections in an organized manner and called the concerns “minor and easy to address”. The project, which will be located West of Mill street, will include housing, a banquet center, a hotel, seniors residences as well as many other things.
The Mayor says he’s hoping for final approval sometime soon.
