A snowmobile collision that took place over the weekend has resulted in a death.
Bancroft OPP were called out to a trail on Weslemkoon Lake Road, east of Silva Lake, on Friday night. Police say the driver was transported to hospital but later died of his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Jamie Ferguson of Prince Edward County. The police investigation is ongoing.
