Residents in Apsley now have another way to get groceries after the loss of Sayer’s Foods.
Apsley Community Care is partnering with the Boyer Auto Group to have groceries delivered to the town from Foodland Bancroft and Valumart in Bobcaygeon. Alicia Vandine with Community Care says a lot of the services they are offering have been used by residents over the last month. Food security is very important to the group and will be there for the residents of Apsley as Sayer’s Foods is rebuilt.
Orders are being shipped from Bancroft and Bobcageyon by Boyer free of charge. For Bancroft, orders must be placed before 6 PM every Monday. Deliveries will reach Apsley by 4 PM on Wednesdays. Orders can be emailed at [email protected] or can be ordered online at 613-332-6664. Credit card payments can be done over the phone, and mentioning Boyer can get those in need a 10% discount.
