The Bancroft OPP have made two arrests in a 2014 alleged assault case in Maynooth.
In August 2014, the OPP responded to the call about an assault at a home on Highway 62. Two women and two men allegedly entered the home, assaulting a man and a woman with weapons. A woman and a man from Faraday Township were arrested and are now in the court process.
The OPP say a woman and a man, both from Alberta, turned themselves in on Thursday when there were warrants for them. They both face charges of: aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes and mischief under $5,000. They were kept in custody for a bail hearing in Belleville.
