The Centre Hastings OPP are warning residents of a fake animal control vehicle that has been spotted in the area recently.
They say the older white van, which has a purple sign saying “animal control” on it, isn’t affiliated with municipal animal control or the Quinte Humane Society. Kingston Police are also cautioning residents to watch out for the vehicle after getting a similar report recently.
The OPP are asking residents to always know where their pets are. Anyone with information that could help find the vehicle is asked to contact the OPP.
