Prince Edward-Hastings MP Daryl Kramp is congratulating the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities program on its 10-year anniversary.
The program was created in 2005 to help relieve sports costs for children who come from low-income families across Canada. Through government support, Sport Canada has given almost $8.7 million to Jumpstart over the years, giving recreational opportunities to 87,000 Canadian children.
Kramp says he supports programs that let kids have fun and develop important relationships through sports.
