With more COVID variants floating around, Bancroft BIA is addressing the concerns of local businesses.

Jody Yantha, executive officer with the BIA, says the town as a whole is moving forward with transformation. She says businesses as a whole are making headway and that serious investments by all levels of government will help things bounce back. While there may be some bumps on the way, there has been no indication of a third wave, and the health unit hasn’t released new regulations about variants. She says the things being done by businesses are the right things, like handwashing, physical distancing, mask wearing and disinfecting.

Yantha reminds businesses and residents that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and there is hope on the horizon.
