The United Way of Quinte’s Good Backpack program is accepting applications from across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, including here in Bancroft.
The program helps families send their kids back to school with the supplies they need at a cost of $10 per backpack. It covers students from junior kindergarten through to grade eight.
Families can register for this year’s program at North Hastings Children’s Services June 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The $10 must be paid in cash during registration.
