It looks like the Maynooth Farmers Market is on for what could be its only winter market of the season.
The market is being held for the first time since health restrictions have been eased. Organizer Christine Hass says she may have other they’ll have five indoor vendors, with three others outside. Although HPE Public Health remains in the Green Zone, that still means capacity is limited to 10-15 people at a time. The market takes place Saturday on the front lawn of Memories Bakery, March 20th from 10 am-3 pm.
Hass adds that their summer market is set to begin in May but the question remains where. Hastings Highlands still has yet to approve where it will take place. She plans to get more vendors to sign up then and hinted at another market potentially coming up in April when the new school-break is scheduled to fall.
