HPE public health says those 60 years of age or older can now book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment.
They say that booking online at the Ontario Government’s website is preferred, and those who are unable to book online are being asked to get a friend or family member to book on your behalf. They say a photo ID health card number if required, and those who don’t have one are asked to call the Province’s booking line at 1-833-943-3900. Certain groups can now also pre-register for a notification for when they can be able to book an appointment.
In addition, the Health Unit is gathering registration information for phase 2 of the Province’s rollout plan. This will include any essential worker who cannot work from home. Those that pre-register will be notified by the Ministry of Health when their group becomes available to get a vaccine. A link to pre-register can be found here.
