Peterborough County Warden Warns Province of COVID Vaccine Shortages

The Warden of Peterborough County is urging the province to send them more vaccines.

Warden J. Murray Jones says at the current time, the county does not have enough shots to meet their target of getting everyone over 60 vaccinated by the end of the month. He also highlighted the importance of getting vaccines to the county, citing a higher percentage of older people in the region, the high level of variant cases, and the number of visitors that arrive in the county every weekend.

They are asking the province for an additional 10,000 vaccines to help them meet their target.
