North Hastings Community Cupboard is fundraising to build a new kitchen at their location.
Monica Piercy with the Cupboard says they are going to use their champions of the Cupboard Cafe to help fund renovations of the kitchen. She says post-COVID, the new kitchen will help the community in more ways than just cooking food, hoping to use it to train people on how to cook using food bank essentials. They also hope to move all their meal cooking onsite.
Donation levels come with perks, like having donor names on websites and social media attention. Those who donate over $1000 will have their business logo and link on their website, and in print at the Cupboard Cafe.
Donations can be made by E-transfer using the email [email protected] or by going to their Canada Helps Portal
