MPP brings North Hastings family’s Hydro One struggles to Question Period

Prince Edward-Hastings MPP Todd Smith says his constituency office has become a Hydro One complaints centre over the past two years.

He says rural residents, like those in our riding, are impacted the most by rising electricity costs because natural gas isn’t an option.  Smith says his party’s asking the Liberal government to stop with green projects that are hiking rates.

On May 13, he brought the struggles of one North Hastings Family to Question Period.

Those in need of assistance can contact his office to learn about programs like Hastings County Social Services.  To see the full video from Question Period, click here.
