The Centre Hastings OPP responded to a call of a domestic dispute at an apartment in Tweed June 8.
Police say an investigation revealed that a man assaulted a common-law spouse and damaged property.
Police arrested and charged a 41-year old Tweed man with assault and mischief under $5,000. He’s due in Belleville court July 3.
