Hastings Prince Edward Public Health’s weekly beach report has found three local beaches unsafe for swimmers.

Water samples show high levels of E.coli bacteria in: Legion Park – Crowe River in Marmora, Tweed Park – Stoco Lake and Wellington Beach – Wellington Bay.  Signs are posted at each of the beaches, warning swimmers that the water is unsafe.  All other tested beaches are safe for swimmers at this time.
