Every first-year student at Loyalist College will soon be getting a progress plan to track their achievement throughout their studies.
Students will be asked to fill out the online College Student Inventory survey about their feelings heading to college. Their results will be put in to a Tailored Achievement Plan, which staff will use to help students find the program that’s right for them, access on-campus services and create a plan for success.
The college’s Senior Vice-President Academic and Student Success John McMahon says it’s about connecting with students right away to increase student retention.
