Brudenell-Lyndoch-Raglan eases total fire ban, allows campfires

Brudenell-Lyndoch-Raglan Township has eased their ban to a level 1.

Under that level, two-foot-by-two-foot campfires will be allowed, as well as enclosed barbeques that use propane or charcoal. Outdoor furnaces and fireworks will also be allowed at this level. The fire department is asking people to have a way of extinguishing your flame on hand at all times, and only to burn between 7 PM and 7 AM. These changes are in place effective immediately.

The move comes at the same time Madawaska Valley lifted its total burn ban, allowing campfires as well. In the region, only Killaloe-Hagarty-Richards remains under a complete burn ban.
