The Conservative Party of Canada has selected who will represent them in Hastings-Lennox and Addington for the next federal election.
The party has nominated Shelby Kramp-Neuman of Madoc as their candidate. The former Deputy Mayor of Centre Hastings is currently a financial advisor. She will officially announce her candidacy on Monday, July 5th.
Currently, two other candidates have been affirmed to stand in the next federal election. The current Member of Parliament, Derek Sloan, will seek reelection as an independent. Former MP Mike Bossio, who was defeated by Sloan in the 2019 election, was acclaimed as the Liberal Party’s MP in February.
