An artistic venue in Bancroft has been allowed to reopen thanks to relaxed COVID-19 restrictions.
A Place for the Arts will begin holding events again starting on August 1st. The first event will be a meet and greet with Kathy Haycock, their current artist at their Annex Gallery. It is the first in-person event they have been able to hold since the pandemic began last March. Haycock will be at the Gallery from July 31st until August 29th.
The gallery has been open since June 12th. However, during that time, visitors were only able to browse the gallery with no events being held in person. Events like meet-and-greets took place online during the lockdowns over the past year.
