The OPP are investigating a fatal collision that happened on Highway 37 Wednesday night.
Around 10 p.m., the Centre Hastings detachment and Belleville Police responded to the crash, involving a southbound Mazda van that crossed into the lane of a northbound Ford pickup truck south of Wiser Road.
The 55-year old Quebec man that was driving the van died on-scene. Four of the van’s five passengers had minor injuries and the other was airlifted to hospital with severe injuries. The 46-year old driver of the truck from Roslin was treated and released from hospital.
The highway reopened eight hours later.
