Province seeking transportation feedback from Eastern Ontario residents

The Provincial Ministry of Transportation wants residents of Eastern Ontario to tell them about their experiences with regional transit needs.

The information will be used to develop a long-term plan to improve the transportation network in the area. Specifically, the survey will ask people about how they and their businesses move around. They also want to hear concerns about transportation as the economy reopens, and how they can support better travel across Eastern Ontario.

The province says it has already moved to create better connections across the area. Widening Highway 17, funding Stage 2 of Ottawa’s light rail transport, and extending the Community Transportation Grant Program to help fund rural transit for 10 more years are some of the projects the province says it has done to help with transportation across the region.

The survey is taking answers until September 23rd. To find the survey, click here.
