The OPP is asking for assistance as they investigate a death in town.
On September 9th, police responded to a report of a male found in the York River around Hastings Heritage Way. The body has been identified as 40-year-old Mathew Welsh.
Police are asking the public for any information they may have regarding the incident. In particular, they are looking for anyone who knew where Welsh was in the days leading up to the discovery of his body.
