Crowe Valley Conservation Authority maintains flood watch for southern portion of watershed

The Crowe Valley Conservation Authority remains under a flood watch, but those in North Hastings are not affected.

Tim Pidduck, General Manager of the Authority, says that the watch will only continue for those around Crowe Lake, as well as south of Beaver Creek and the Crowe River around Marmora. Pidduck also believes that the situation will be short-lived as heavy rains are not expected in the forecast for the next few days.

The Authority issued a flood watch on Saturday the 25th after significant rainfall. While the watch remains in effect, Crowe Valley Conservation urges everyone to stay away from hydro generating plants, bridges and dams.
